How I suffer from pride. I need to know what humility is, and to learn it more and more everyday. I pray earnestly that my heart and actions can truly reflect what Paul says, "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also the interests of others." (Phillipians 2:3-4)
With Christ being the ultimate example I am shamed by own arrogance and pride. How humbling it is to hear Mark Driscoll on this issue. It is amazing to hear a preacher admit this, I believe that Christians can learn a lot from Driscoll's example.
